There are two options for logging out of the POS system, depending on whether you plan to continue selling later in the day or not. Here is a summary of the options: <\/p>\n

Log out<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Usage:<\/strong> If you want to log out but plan to return to continue the sale during the day.<\/li>\n
  • Step:<\/strong> Click on Log out<\/strong>. You can then log in again when you are ready to continue. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Log out and close the checkout<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Use:<\/strong> If you will not sell more during the day and want to close the checkout.<\/li>\n
    • Step:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. Click on Log out and close the checkout<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. You will then be taken to the next step, where you will be asked to fill in the change box at the end of the day.<\/li>\n
      3. Follow the instructions to enter the change fund and create a Z report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Important<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • The Z-report<\/strong> is a summary of the day’s sales and transactions, and is automatically generated when you close the checkout.<\/li>\n
        • Make sure that all transactions are recorded and that the change is correct before closing the till.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
