Connect extra screen Fortus Smart

Note: The additional screen must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the POS system to work properly.

Download and install the Extra Screen app

  • Open the Play Store on the device to be used as an additional screen.
  • Search for “Extra Screen” or click on the link: Extra Screen app.
  • Install the app.

Launching Extra Screen apps

  • Open the app and take note of the IP address displayed on the screen.
  • After the IP address is noted, click once on the screen to hide it and display the Fortus Pay logo.
  • If the IP address is not visible, click once on the screen to display it.

Activate multi-screen mode in the POS system

  • Go to the device where Fortus Smart is installed.
  • Log in to the POS system.
  • Click on the three dots at the top right.
  • Select Settings and then Multi-screen settings.
  • Activate Multi-screen mode. The icon should be turquoise when active.
  • In the IP address field, enter the IP address you entered in step 2.
  • Click on Save.

Test the coupling

To ensure that the additional screen is working properly:

  • Add products to the shopping cart in Fortus Smart.
  • Check that the products are displayed on the additional screen.

You are now ready to charge in multi-screen mode!
