Omni-Commerce: integrated e-commerce and physical store in Fortus POS

When your e-commerce is integrated with your physical store, you will have access to features for managing incoming e-commerce orders and for making purchases with stock from other stores or central warehouses.

Manage Incoming Orders

  1. Incoming Orders button: Located in the top right corner of the checkout.
  2. View Reservations and Orders: Click to see if there are any e-commerce orders received or reservations from customers.
  3. Process and Order:
    • Select an order or reservation by clicking on the order details.
    • Products are automatically added to the shopping cart.
    • Complete your purchase by selecting a payment method at checkout.

Place Order from Other Warehouse or Store

If you have several warehouses or stores and want to send an order from another location, do the following:

  1. Add item to cart: Add the items the customer wants to the cart.
  2. Select Other layer:
    • Click on the truck icon.
    • Select the warehouse or store from which the product will be shipped.
  3. Finalize the order:
    • Complete the purchase as usual, selecting Invoice as the payment method.
    • An order confirmation is printed when the order is placed.
    • When the goods are shipped from the selected warehouse, the invoice is activated and sent to the customer.
  4. Order management in Admin:
    • This order is then in admin for further processing.
    • In the case of partial deliveries, where some goods are sent from another store/warehouse, each part can be handled individually and sent as required.

With these features, you can effectively manage the omni-order flow between e-commerce and your physical stores or warehouses.
