Settings for your e-commerce

To get started with your Fortus webshop, fill in all the necessary details and configure the settings that match your business needs. Here is a guide with the different settings:

General Information

  • E-commerce name: The name of your webshop, which will be visible in several places.
  • Web address: Enter the web address of your online shop.
  • Activate/Deactivate shop: Choose whether the shop should be active or inactive.
  • Logo: Click on “Select file” to upload the store logo.

Address and and contact details

  • Address details: Fill in the name of the shop, street address, postal code, postal town.
  • Contact details: Enter phone number and email address for customer contact.

Home page text field

  • Heading: A heading that appears at the top of the webshop.
  • Descriptive text: Text field for the store’s introduction and selling points, displayed at the bottom left.
  • SEO fields: Three SEO text fields to optimize visibility in search engines like Google.
  • Social media links: Link to the shop’s Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter.

E-commerce settings

Select settings by checking the relevant boxes:

  • Order confirmations: Send automatic confirmations by email after placing an order.
  • Delivery confirmations: Send confirmations by email and/or SMS when the order is ready for delivery.
  • Automatic part numbers: Activate automatically generated part numbers.
  • Minimum order amount: Enter a minimum amount to manage the order value efficiently.
  • Google analytics: Fill in your tracking ID to integrate Google analytics.
  • Inter-store deliveries: possibility to move goods between different stores.

Cookie settings

  • Enable cookie notification: Show a notification about cookies to visitors.

Payment settings

  • Card: Activated automatically when you activate Fortus Checkout.
  • Swish: Follow the instructions to connect Swish.
  • Invoice: Activated automatically when you activate Fortus Checkout.

Logistics settings

  • Store selection: Specify which store will handle the logistics (if you have several).
  • API key: Fill in the API key from Unifaun to integrate shipping providers.
  • Shipper details: Enter the store name, address, postal code and contact details to be displayed on shipping labels.
  • Customer number: Enter customer numbers for shipping partners like PostNord and DHL.

With these settings and configuration, your online shop is ready to launch and handle orders, payments and deliveries.
