Under Settings -> Shipping, you can choose which shipping options will be available to your customers and customize them as needed. How to configure the shipping options is described below.
Steps to set up shipping options
- Enable shipping options: Tick the desired shipping options. When you do this, the settings for each shipping method are expanded.
- Fill in the following fields for each option:
- Shipping fee: Please indicate the cost of shipping, if any.
- Handling fee: Add an additional fee if handling is to be charged.
- Checkout header: Specify what to display for the shipping method at checkout. If not specified, the system default name is displayed.
- Long description at checkout: Here you can write a longer description to give the customer more information about the shipping method.
- Max weight: If you want certain shipping options to apply only to products up to a certain weight, fill in the max weight. Products must have the specified weight for this to work.
- Max price: Enter a maximum price if you want the shipping method to apply only to orders up to a certain amount.
- Displayed for customer types: Specify whether the shipping mode should only be available for private individuals or businesses.
- Example of use of weight and price limits:
- If you have a Letter shipping method with a maximum weight of 1000g and another DHL Service Point shipping method without a maximum weight, Letters will only be displayed for baskets with a total weight of up to 1000g.
- You can also set a maximum price limit for Letters to, for example, 1000 SEK. This means that a customer with an order under 1000 SEK will see both Letters and DHL Service Point, while a more expensive order will only show DHL Service Point.
Additional shipping settings
