Switching Receipt Printers
Plug in and turn on the receipt printer:
- Connect the power cable to the receipt printer.
- Turn on the printer using the button on the front.
Open the settings in Fortus Smart:
- Launch the app Fortus Smart.
- Click on the three dots at the top right of the app.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and select Bluetooth & Cashbox.
- Choose the type of receipt printer you have: 58mm or 80mm.
Connect to the printer via Bluetooth:
- Scroll down and press Search to search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select your printer from the list.
- If the device asks for a password, enter 0000 (default password).
Done!
Troubleshooting
- No devices are found:
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- To activate it, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Bluetooth symbol to turn the feature on.
