Connect Fortus to Fortnox
- Go to Settings -> ERP system in Fortus Admin.
- Click on the button to connect to Fortnox. You will be redirected to the Fortnox login page where you need to approve the data sharing between Fortus and Fortnox.
Important: Log in with a Fortnox account that has full permissions.
If you are using Fortnox via an accounting firm and do not have full rights, ask someone from the firm to help you. - Once you have approved the application in Fortnox, you will automatically be returned to the Fortus admin portal. Please note that you may need to log in again to Fortus.
Set accounting options
- Customize accounting settings: Fill in how you want the data to be posted in Fortnox. When you are done, click Save.
You can choose whether invoices are open, posted or paid automatically. - Purchase posting settings: Select which accounts in Fortnox to use for payment methods (e.g. post in-store payments as cash payments).
- Other settings:
Account for penny rounding.
Account for gift cards.
Specific settings for sales and payments
- Sales accounts: Select your sales accounts in Fortnox.
- Fortus POS or Checkout: If you are using Fortus POS or Checkout, enter “6” Otherwise enter “1”.
- Fortus Invoice: Here you set up which accounts are used for posting billing charges.
- Time of entry: Select the time of day when the entry should be made. NOTE! There may be a deviation of about 15 minutes.
- VAT settings: Specify the accounts to be used for the different VAT rates, for example {“Fortus”, “25”, “2610K”} indicates that account 2610 is used for accounting for 25% VAT.
- Verification series: Specify the series to be used for verifications. It is possible to have different series for different stores. Contact Fortus if you need help with this.
